SOAP BUBBLES

A FEW FAQs

Q:  Why should I choose Blue Penguin Car Wash?

A:    Unlike our competitors, we provide a variety of unique tools free of charge: microfiber towels, chemical and compressed air guns at each vacuum stall, and more. In addition, to prepare your vehicle for the wash, we scrub its front and rear — especially those hard to reach areas that tunnel equipment can't reach. We spray for bugs and will even do some hand-scrubbing if the bugs are extraordinarily pesky. You're welcome to make special requests if there's something in particular you're concerned about!

Q:  Can I sign up for a membership online?

A:    Yes. Just pick the wash package you prefer and go to https://www.bluepenguincarwash.com/wash-unlimited-carwash-memberships to activate your membership. All of our wash packages (along with their respective chemical applications) can be viewed on our home page.

Q:  How can I manage my membership?

A:    There are several ways to go about managing your membership:

  1. You can speak with the friendly staff at your Blue Penguin Car Wash location. (Staff members are able to manage your plan directly via our Point of Sale system.)
  2. You can use our Membership Management Form to make changes to your membership plan.
  3. You can fill out our contact form to ask us questions about your membership.

Q:  Is a car wash membership worth it?

A:    A resounding YES!

  1. The pricing of our wash packages are geared toward giving you the best value. If you use your membership to wash your vehicle twice per month, it's paid for itself!
  2. Cars are an investment. By caring for your car's exterior and interior surfaces, you ensure that it retains its value. (After all, the first thing a potential car buyer looks at is how well-kempt the car is, inside and out!) Our membership plan can help with this long-term upkeep, without breaking the bank.

Q:  Are Blue Penguin Car Wash tunnels touchless?

A:    No. All Blue Penguin Car Wash tunnels use a friction-based wash system. The bristles on our brushes are made from neoprene, a fabric that is both weather- and scratch-resistant (making it a popular material for wet suits, gloves, and other outerwear). Our neoprene brushes allow for a wash that is both safe and thorough.

Q:  Will the Blue Penguin Car Wash TUNNEL cause damage to my vehicle?

A:    No. If the procedures and direction given by the tunnel operator are adhered to, your car wash will be quick, efficient, and safe — no matter the size or make of your car. Always make sure to leave your vehicle in neutral, avoid steering the vehicle, and avoid pressing on the brake pedal. Pressing the brakes or steering off the tracks while inside the tunnel can cause severe damage to your vehicle, our equipment, and even other vehicles. If there is any issue with our tunnel, the best way to alert staff is to honk your horn in short bursts. Our tunnel operator will stop the tunnel and take care of the issue.

Q:  Does Blue Penguin Car Wash provide detailing services?

A:    There are currently two locations, Douglasville, GA and Griffin, GA that offer minor detailing services.

  1. This includes exterior drying (including the door jambs), rim cleaning, tire shine reapplication, glass surface cleaning (inside and out), a wiping down of the dash, doors, and center console, and the vacuuming of all interior surfaces.
  2. These locations also provide hand-waxing. We use a dual action polisher to apply the wax, then remove it with microfiber towels to leave a layer of protection that lasts 4-5 months.

Q:  Is BLUE PENGUIN'S ceramic chemical application beneficial to my vehicle?

A:    Blue Penguin Car Wash uses Cleaning Systems Inc's product, C-Force, for its ceramic chemical application: a deep, penetrating foam that acts as a shield for your vehicle. It provides many benefits like nano-scratch resistance, premier water beading, and UV protection. Its effects last an approximate period of two (2) weeks.

Q:  What does BLUE PENGUIN'S triPLE-foam chemical application do for my vehicle?

A:    Our triple-foam chemical application is mainly comprised of soap, though it contains other additives (such as window cleaner and bug cleaner) that facilitate a more thorough clean that just soap alone. Its effects last an approximate period of two (2) weeks.
